Tender for procurement of around 50 new four-axle eighty feet wagons series S for transport of containers is now published on the public procurement website of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) – ECEPP (EBRD Client e-Procurement Portal). These freight wagons are suitable for transport of containers of different dimensions (20, 26, 30, 40 and 45 feet).
The value of the procurement amounts to EUR 4.5 million, and the deadline for submission of tenders is 13th January 2025. This procurement is a part of a wider project of “Srbija Kargo” a.d. rolling stock renewal which is realized from the proceeds of the loan of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The aim of the project in question is modernization of the rolling stock fleet of “Srbija Kargo” a.d. and increase of efficiency of the transport of goods in intermodal transport units which will significantly improve railway transport quality and capacities.
